FIGHT AGAINST CHILD EXPLOITATION

REBRANDING THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN

The International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC) is a legislative and education-forward nonprofit organization seeking to battle child exploitation on a global scale.

Asking for a complete overhaul of their brand logo, name, style guide, online presence, and brand vision, we created a campaign that traverses the uncomfortable topic of child exploitation with guardians and helping to create brand awareness through educational content and experiences.

When people hear about the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, they often confuse ICMEC for an entirely different organization, such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

To prevent that confusion, we renamed ICMEC to a shorter acronym with a more succinct goal and mission statement: Fight Against Child Exploitation, or F.A.C.E.

We explored a variety of logo options, and decided on the logo above.
